Maersk PT Slab on Grade

Grouting Services has an enviable reputation in delivering design and construct solutions for post-tensioned slabs on grade, as well as supply and install solutions. Our latest project is a new facility at the Ruakura Superhub for global shipping and logistics company Maersk. The 18,000sq.m building includes the company’s largest cold store project in New Zealand and has a strong focus on environmental sustainability. The temperature controlled section of the building covers some 10,500sq.m2. Leading concrete construction company Conset Construction delivered the insitu-concrete package for Main Contractor Apollo Projects. Grouting Services is proud to have provided the design and construct services for the post-tensioning works to Conset Construction. The 200mm thick ground slab was designed to deal with 101kN back to back rack loads on a polystyrene subbase with CBR of 2.5%.
