Big Chill PT Slab on Grade

Grouting Services has an enviable reputation in delivering design and construct solutions for post-tensioned slabs on grade, as well as supply and install solutions. Our latest project is an extension to the existing Big Chill temperature controlled warehouse in Highbrook with a floor area of approximately 5000m2.

Leading concrete construction company Conset Construction delivered the insitu-concrete package for Main Contractor Federal Group. Grouting Services is proud to have provided the design and construct services for the post-tensioning works to Conset Construction. The 170mm thick ground slab was designed to deal with 70kN back to back rack loads on a polystyrene subbase with CBR of 2%. Grouting Services engaged partner EDGE Consulting Engineers to complete the PT design, documentation and construction monitoring (PS1 and PS4).
